Service Learning Opportunities

Help plan, implement, and/or promote an organic waste recycling program in your school.

​

Launching a new recycling program takes a lot of work, and you can help! Talk to the Service Learning coordinator at your school about the role you can play. Examples of projects you can do include:

​

  • Designing materials to help promote the program

  • Making presentations to classmates about the program, how it works, and why it's important

  • Distributing materials throughout the school with information about the program

  • Researching composting partners, materials and supplies, etc.
